MCCCI Hosts First CEO Roundtable Discussion

Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) hosted its first CEO Roundtable Discussion on Monday. This platform brought together top executives from various industries to discuss pressing issues, share insights, and develop strategies to propel Malawi’s economy forward.

The inaugural CEO Roundtable Discussion took place at the Protea Ryalls Hotel in Blantyre, providing a unique opportunity for participants to address common challenges, explore new opportunities, and forge strategic partnerships.

Guy Ainsely, an Associate Fellow at Said Business School at the University of Oxford, served as the main discussant for the event. Ainsely, an expert in Financial Modelling, Business Strategy, Change Management, Business Process Improvement, Mergers and Acquisitions, Marketing, and Sales, provided valuable insights that greatly enriched the discussions and contributed to the formulation of strategic initiatives.

The roundtable fostered open and constructive dialogue among CEOs and senior executives, paving the way for increased collaboration across various sectors. Participants identified potential joint ventures and partnerships that could drive industry growth and innovation.

Discussions focused on critical economic issues such as macroeconomic stability, regulatory reforms, and investment attraction. The roundtable resulted in a set of actionable solutions aimed at improving the business environment and enhancing competitiveness.

The CEO Roundtable Discussion is expected to become a regular feature in MCCCI’s calendar, providing an ongoing platform for high-level dialogue and collaboration.
