Foreign Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy in Dar Es Salaam-Tanzania, a partner of the US Embassy in Malawi is registering interested participants from Malawi to be part of their delegation to Solar Power International Trade Show (SPI) in Anaheim, California.
The SPI is north America's largest gathering of solar, smart energy, energy storage, and hydrogen fuel cell professionals with a robust line-up of educational content led by renewable energy leaders from across the globe.
The three-day event will feature over 100 sessions, including dedicated content for energy storage, grid modernization and DERs, along with a variety of sessions focused on policy, finance, and more.
In an invitation letter to MCCCI, the US Embassy in Malawi said, there are benefits to businesses if they participate as part of a U.S. Embassy delegation.
“There will be a complimentary exhibit hall visitor pass, giving you access to the exhibit floor, expo sessions, use of the International Business Center, and a U.S. Government-sponsored reception. Discounted conference package for access to additional events. Pre-arranged and facilitated country briefings and meetings with U.S. exhibitors,” Reads the letter in part.
The 2018 SPI is expected to attract over 650 exhibitors and over 18,000 attendees from more than 100 countries.

The Embassy further said, participants will be responsible to pay for their own travel and hotel costs.
